Every year at this time I love talking about the beauty of tradition. Linus, for example, in the pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin. His yearly ritual shows how hope flourishes through repetition—whether or not the Great Pumpkin arrives, the act of waiting becomes meaningful and sacred in itself.
Linus teaches us the power of unwavering belief, standing firm even when others mock or lose hope—reminding us that sometimes, believing in something unseen is an act of courage. Even when the Great Pumpkin doesn’t appear, Linus reminds us that hope isn’t destroyed by failure, only delayed, as he vows to try again next year.
So this year look at Linus with childlike faith reflecting how hope can thrive in simplicity. While he waits alone, Linus’ hope inspires others to join in, even if only briefly—reminding us that hope is contagious and that we don’t need everyone to believe, just a few kind souls to join us.
