‘The Dude’, Jeff Bridges presented the big honor, and when he announced Wallen’s name, he mispronounced it as “Waylon” — as in, “Waylon Jennings.” No word how many White Russians he had during the evening (reference from the movie) lol.
If you don’t know who that Bridges guy is…search out the cult movie classic The Big Lebowski. Heads up…I lost count of the ‘F-Bomb’s’ with in the first 10 minutes of the movie…it’s NOT a kids movie, people 🙂 I know this…I trusted a friend’s recommendation.
But…where was Wallen? Bridges then congratulated the singer on his big win in absentia. This morning Bubba said “Someone should have thrown a chair on stage…it would’ve brought down the house and completely over shadowed Jeff Bridges mispronunciation”.
