Minnesota-based Yelloh, formerly Schwan’s, shutting down after 72 years.
Before I remember an Ice Cream Truck roaming our neighborhood, the Pizza Delivery guy, and long before Uber Eats and Door Dash… we had the Schwan’s Man’. (YELLING) Mom…the SCHWAN’S Man! MOM. You Yelled it…I Yelled it and so did all four of my boys. Founded in Marshall in 1952, the company was a pioneer in the frozen food home-delivery market. Over the decades, it became an industry leader with the largest fleet of freezer trucks in the nation. The Food delivery company Yelloh, formerly known as Schwan’s Home Delivery, announced Monday it’ll shut down in November after 72 years of operations.
If you remember those Yellow trucks you had a favorite. Mine…frozen ice cream cups, the orange sherbet push ups, Crinkled Fries and Mozzarella sticks.
