The Ohio Department of Development will help two local organizations with expansion projects that could create 50 new jobs.
The Newark-Heath-Licking County Port Authority will receive a low interest, $1 million loan for 12 years.
The loan will offset costs for building a new facility to be leased by Atlantic Inertial systems in a $3.5 million expansion expected to create 10 jobs and retain 47.
Coshocton’s Intrust Transportation has also been awarded a 40 percent tax credit worth over $50,000 to maintain operations in Coshocton for 10 years.
The distribution company’s expansion is expected to create 40 jobs and retain 12.
