A 19-year-old graduate of Reynoldsburg will run for a seat on the districts' school board.

David Hedrick, a political science student at Ohio State, was co-chair for the schools levy campaign.

Voters rejected the 15.6 mill measure in May.

Hedrick says the district waited too long to put the levy on the ballot and is promoting more board accountability to the taxpayers and improved communication among employees.

Hedrick will try to win one of three seats available in November.
