The Ohio School Board Association has released the candidates for superintendent of Newark City Schools. 

29 people have applied for the post, including the assistant superintendent of Heath Schools John Forgrave and Utica Elementary Principal Sharon Greene.

A few other Central Ohio Administrators are on the list. Canal Winchester elementary principal Michael Bruning and superintendent of the Perry Hocking Educational Service Center Dale Dickson submitted their names for consideration.

The district is on schedule to name a replacement for Keith Richards on July 7th.
